MOLA WOMENS FASHION TOP -- WILDFLOWER

The lockdown that the world experienced since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has brought out the creativity in many of us. Out of a request for Panamanian inspired masks, the WILDFLOWER strapless tube top was born.

A social media communication with my brother in Panama led me to ask if he knew anyone that made mola textiles. He said one of his coworker’s sisters made them. I placed an order for a few mola pieces of various sizes by the end of the week. The amazing part of this story is that those artisans were unable to sell their mola textile in town due to the COVID lockdown and my order came at just the right time to provide for their families.

This WILDFLOWER strapless tube top is a reminder of the beauty that emerges amidst confusion and sadness. Like an actual wildflower, there is no holding us back if we are determined to prosper and live purposeful lives.
